Hi - I'm not a consultant, but this is obviously the place to post my question!

I recently became a board member for a non-profit. Well, we are in the process of filing for our non-profit status anyway.

We are throwing around fundraising ideas and I thought I remembered that you can host a Pampered Chef party and instead of receiving $ towards products, you have have that $ distributed to a non-profit organization of your choice.

Can someone tell me if this is correct? I couldn't find anything on the Pampered Chef site about it.

Thanks,
Lisa

I'm surprised this never got any responses. Undoubtedly, my information is past late, but for future reference, here's the answer.

Yes, you can do fundraising parties.

-The organization receives a cash contribution instead of free, half-price, and discounted products.
-The chair-person can purchase one Monthly Host Special as a thank you for organizing the fundraiser show.
-No booking Benefits are awarded for future shows booked from a fundraiser, because the organization receives $3 for each booking.

The contribution (in addition to the booking bonus) is 10-15% of guest sales (minus shipping and tax). Merchandise and the check are shipped seperately. The check is made out to the organization, it cannot be to an individual.

To the best of my knowledge this is all accurate, but double check with the consultant you end up with. I have been inactive for about 6 months now (great products, great business, not the opportunity for me). I can still sell products if you need them, but if you wish to become a consultant yourself, I'd redirect you to the Pampered Chef homepage.

I am a Pampered Chef consultant. You can check out my site www.pamperedchef.biz/kristinafulps (http://www.pamperedchef.biz/kristinafulps) and click on Fundraising.
I'd be happy to help set up a Pampered Chef fundraiser for you. The fundraiser can be done through catalogs and online shopping. You will receive at least 15% of the purchases. Hope this helps!
