Hi everyone!
I just found this website, and it's just what I've been looking for. I'm trying to get started in the freelance editing biz and am looking forward to meeting other moms who're doing the same. I live in North Carolina right now, though i'm trying to get out to the Northwest. My son, Benjamin, is 4 months old, and I'm really enjoying being able to stay at home with him. I have a PhD in English (which was finished, or "born" you might say, right around the time my son arrived) and have taught college literature and writing courses for the past 7 years. so I'm trying to find a way to use my expertise while staying home with my son. It's daunting starting your own business, but I'm so excited about it, too. I don't have a website yet, but it's in the works. So much to do to get started!

I'm looking forward to meeting all of you and wish you the best of luck in your freelance biz. Kelly
