I am a work at home mom and I auction jewelleries for living; occasionally, make-up or beauty products.
The tip is to get your supplies at a good cost.
For example, if the retail price of a necklace is about $40 each, if you can get it for about $24~$28 each from your wholesaler, then it's a good-buy ($40 less 40% or 50% = $24). Ideally is to keep the cost of your products for about 40% to 50% less than your retail pricing.
