Hello,
My name is Kari and I am a mother to three boys. I have been doing freelance web design for almost 7 years and have been doing it full time since my youngest was born to help make ends meet. I just now really started trying to pick my business up and found this site through an online search in google. I was hoping for some pointers and to talk with other work at home mothers as well.

Nice to meet everyone here :)

Kari

It's great to have you here. I'm also a Mom to three boys. My oldest, Orion, is almost 13! Max is almost 4 and Jack is 1.

Congratulations on the fact that your business is picking up. As they get older it's easier to balance work and caring for them. Max is very easy to be with while I'm working, but Jack needs a lot more interaction -- He's on my lap as we speak playing with his toes

I hope we get to see some of your designs! We do have quite a few talented designers in our group and it's fun to share our projects and tips with eachother.

Best wishes!

Lori

Welcome Kari! It's so good to have more members!

I have 3 kids of my own, 2 girls and a boy, and I love working from home. Quite frankly, I cannot imagine doing anything else. As the kids get older, sometimes I think, maybe I'll rejoin the workforce, but then I just don't see any reason to do so.

I make a nice living, we just bought a house, and I have my own, very spacious office, without anybody nagging me about anything (well, except for IM and the phone...oh, and the kids when they want more chocolate milk).

Anyway, anytime you would like to talk, please just let me know...I'm always (nearly) available.

Best,

Debbi
