Synergy Sports Technology, the world’s premier sports data and analytics company, is looking for basketball loggers in the East Coast time zone for the 2009-2010 NBA, NCAA and International league seasons.
Basketball loggers are independent contractors who watch games on their home computers to identify and tag specific characteristics of what’s happening during play.
Synergy Sports uses a 2-step process to log basketball games. Both steps involve a different type of basketball knowledge. Phase One logging requires a moderate understanding of the mechanics of basketball, while Phase Two logging calls for a deeper understanding of how basketball is played and coached. The logging process involves downloading and watching games using a PC computer and high speed Internet connection and then entering play event data using Synergy’s proprietary software. Subscribing basketball teams access this data (and related video) for use in coaching and scouting.
The first step is to fill out the Screening Survey and Basketball Familiarity Quiz to help us determine if you qualify for training in either Phase One or Phase Two basketball logging.
Using a PC computer, navigate to this link to get started - http://www.synergysportstech.com/LoggingWeb/Survey.aspx
You MUST have a newer PC computer and a broadband connection to be a contract logger for Synergy Sports. Completion of the survey and quiz is not a guarantee of an offer to train - your survey/quiz results will determine your qualifications for training. After completing the survey and quiz, you will be contacted within 2-3 weeks to notify whether or not you can start the training process.
