PlacePop http://placepop.com is a new website, founded by successful internet entrepreneurs. It is focused on the ‘local’ space, competing with companies like Yelp, and Citysearch.
We’re looking for a passionate, outgoing and creative Community Manager and Evangelist. This job is a part-time position but could become a full-time staff position in the fall.
You will represent the site online, through blogs, twitter, email and all relevant social media.
You will manage the PlacePop community by emailing and writing forums with users.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge and passion for all forms of social media – blogs, social networks, twitter, etc.
- Ability to communicate clearly, especially in writing.
- Strong online interpersonal skills
