Savings.com, Inc. is a successful early stage technology company, founded in 2004. We are highly profitable, fast growing, and dedicated to becoming the online destination for savings and discounts.

We are adding to our staff, and are looking for an internet savvy, dependable and highly motivated Online Marketing Specialist who can work out of their home office (with a high speed internet connection). This career opportunity represents a solid platform for learning and professional growth, and we can also offer you some flexibility in your work schedule. We’d like you to commit to a work schedule of 32-40 hours/week (but we would consider a commitment of a minimum of 20 hours/week).

You will create and maintain written content for the consumer facing Savings.com website, providing Members and Visitors with the best possible coupons and deals on the internet. In this important role, the key focus centers around content writing, though your responsibilities will extend to internet research, quality assurance and ultimately, improving operational and technology processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Review automated data feed from affiliate marketing partners (or directly from the Merchant's provider network of choice) and write descriptive content for these deals for use on the Savings.com website in accordance with Savings.com policies.
* Use creative writing abilities in conjunction with Savings.com's proprietary technology to ensure descriptive content incorporates specific keywords (effectively optimizing them for organic and paid search initiatives), provides value to Savings.com Members and Visitors and are compliant with Merchant objectives and policies.
* Find the best deals on the web! In other words, perform internet research aimed at uncovering online deals for your assigned Savings.com Merchants. Report findings on exclusive deals to Account Manager(s) and manually enter non-exclusive deals into the Savings.com network.
* Perform a quality assurance function by testing deals that are active on the Savings.com website. Ensure that all coupon codes and deal landing pages facing the Consumer are functional and relevant. Report on any quality issues found and participate in resolving them.
* Ensure the appropriate Savings.com personnel are informed of Merchant site downtime or other system errors.
* Continually look for ways to improve the deal entry process. Regularly provide feedback and suggest improvements within Operations or Technology.
* Participate in ongoing Savings.com employee training initiatives.
* Provide work status updates to the Deal Entry Supervisor in a standardized format and timely manner.
* Maintain accurate record of work hours and billable time using time sheet provided.
* Participate in special projects (usually pertaining to SEO content writing, database maintenance, or seasonal merchant promotions.

Professional Qualifications:
You...
* Have completed college coursework or preferably, have received a Bachelor's degree.
* Have consistent work experience, ideally in a professional work setting.
* Ideally, have experience working with online retail in merchandising, product management, content writing or similar capacities.
* Have a natural affinity for the internet and are interested in learning new technologies (and can easily pick up new concepts quickly).
* Are internet savvy and have experience/interest in surfing coupon sites or comparison shopping sites.
* Are adept at internet research, particularly the ability to find bargains online.
* Have creative writing skills and have experience or want experience using them at work.
