We are launching a social/community component to an established website for parenting. We will be hiring several online facilitators to write message board topics, respond daily to message board participants, and establish an engaging and informative voice within the community.
This is a paid, telecommuting Independent Contractor relationship with our company.
Who we are looking for:
New Moms and Dads with lots of personal experience to share -- you have one or more children, with one being under 3 years old right now. You understand how other Moms and Dads use the Internet to find information, connect with other parents and interact with online message boards.
You are smart and savvy, have a great sense of humor and relate well to other knowledge-seekers when it comes to caring for his or her baby. You are sensitive to the issue of finding balance among "me time", work, family, and providing for your baby. You have an outstanding communication style in writing as well as a flair for developing compelling online content.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of proven editorial, preferably in women's (or related) media.
- Have a passion for and experience in reaching consumers on parenting, pregnancy and/or women's topics.
- Minimum 2 years in an online environment.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
