Position Summary:
This is an entry level to 1-2 years experience professional position. Training will be provided in the specifics of our technologies but the successful candidate must have a Bachelors degree, solid computer knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. This is a telecommuting (work from home) part-time position with flexible hours but you must be able to attend regular staff meetings at our Branford, CT office and other in-person work as needed. Computer will be provided. Hours will fluctuate with work requirements but will typically be 15-20 hrs per week.

Responsibilities: Provide support to study manager in execution of a variety of projects. Involvement in various aspects of quantitative project management, such as edit online surveys/develop programming instructions, review and approve survey programming, prepare survey invitations, pull sample and monitor field work, data processing and tabulation, checking data, report preparation. Extensive qualitative study support such as screening and recruting from database, conducting screening interviews to verify qualifications and recruit to participate in studies and follow-up (reminder calls/confirmations, etc.). Considerable PC/online software involvement: heavy use of Excel, Word, tabulation software & panel management software (training provided in tabulation and panel management software).

Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business Management, Computer Science, Education or Social Sciences preferred)
· Solid knowledge of computer programs: an advanced proficiency with MS Office--strong Excel/Word skills mandatory; SAS, SPSS or other research software or survey software a plus
Strong interpersonal skills/telephone skills and ability to interact with consumers,
including children and teens, as well as clients
· Attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
· Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize work load
· This is a telecommuting position—must be a task-oriented self-starter able to work indepently, be highly productive and meet project deadlines
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Stringent background check required
