Gross story

So I had change my son's poopy and very smelly diaper that morning and put it in my trash can in my room, was going to dump it later. So later when My hubby and son were watching TV, I decided to go on the computer, and usually my dog follows me everywhere I go. Well he decided to go in my room and investigate my trash. When I got off the computer I could smell something aweful in the hallway and I noticed My dog had tissue stuck to his paws. When I looked closer at his paws, they looked like they were full of mud. It wasn't mud, I went to my room and there were paw prints of poop all over my carpet and the poopy diaper had been thrashed and most of it wasn't anywhere to be found, I think my dog had ate it.
I was so disgusted and almost threw up from the smell.

Thank God we had a steam cleaner that had only been used once before that, and it got up every last bit of poop and smell. I will never ever leave a dirty diaper in the trash like that again and never ever let my dog roam around my room.

Thats HORRIBLE!! But I completely understand. My husband had put one of my son's pee diapers in the small bathroom trash ( why I don't know) and my dog had gotten it and ripped it to shreds. I can't imagine a poopy diaper though. You had your work cut out for you that day. I'm glad you were able to save the carpet!!

I have yet to run into an experience like that, but I already have a steam cleaner. Now at least I know I'll have some need for it in the future. Thats "stinky" it had to happen.
