No ads, no fees, I can't find anything wrong with this one. Definately a beginner tool but who isn't a beginner nowadays?:p

Beware the lure of "free". I didn't see anything about getting traffic to your site and converting visitors to customers. There are plenty of applications out there which will give you a "website". But a website is just a sales tool. It might look pretty but if it's not attracting targeted visitors and adding value to your business there's little point to the exercise.

My first webpage was also from a website builder. I find it cool succeeding in making one without the help of anyone.

Can a total newbie create a website using frontpage or dreamweaver?

Thanks

I wouldn't recommend Dreamweaver for a total newbie. It's a very capable program, but the learning curve is very steep. Unless you plan on becoming a professional web designer I'd give it a miss. FrontPage is easier to use but has its own issues.

For a newbie I'd recommend a program called XSitePro. It's easy to learn and use and creates search-engine-friendly sites.

Steve,

Both of my sites were built with XSite. I'm a huge advocate of the program.
