Hi all, sorry if this isn't the right forum (please move the thread if necessary)

I did a search and didn't see much discussion (besides maybe this thread (http://www.freelancemom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9154)) on GPT sites and services. Is anyone doing surveys / offers to earn some extra money?

From what I can see it seems like you can earn a couple hundred bucks a month from home doing free offers and surveys. I just started using a site called CashCrate for an hour or so per day (:work:) and it's not so bad (I'm up to about $40 in ~1 week). I am currently documenting my experience with the site (how much money I earn, how difficult the offers are, etc.) on my blog here: http://gocashcrate.com/

Does anybody have experience with other services for earning money from surveys or free offers? It seems like there are a lot out there, but it can be difficult to tell which are worth the time.. CashCrate has been pretty good to me so far, but having options is good :D

edit: Oh and if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer!

Hi.. From what I understand Cashcrate is a good GPT site. You can always find out if a site is good or bad at http://gptboycott.com/ and it's important to check them before joining any gpt site. A lot of them come and go virtually overnight.

One thing I want to make sure is clear: There is a HUGE difference between a legitimate survey site and GPT and offer sites.

Most always you will see gpt and offer sites referring to themselves as a place to take surveys and it just isn't the case. Even the ones that do offer a so-called survey typically turn out to be just a questionaire to see if you would be interested in doing an "offer".

Legitimate survey sites are offering real research opportunities and you can get paid to help with the research. Usually about new products that are getting ready to be released. This is a lot of fun and you can make some extra money. There is a legitimate list of real survey companies on my website and forum.

Hey gcc,

I have been doing GPT and surveys for a while. I started of slowly and started to find a lot more as I went along. I will probably be the same for you if you stick with it.

Be careful though. There are a lot of scams out there. A great place I found to help you get started is http://www.GeoSurveysOnline.com. This site has a great review of all kinds of GPT and survey sites. They are thurough and even tell you how each site pays.

Otherwise Good luck and hope you find what you are looking for.

I certainly see CashCrate as a Great way to earn good money and then you can use this money to pay the debts on your credit cards, mortgages etc. The minimum payout is also $10 which is very good. I personally tried it and found it the best program.
You can check out the proof of the earnings on the blog - http://www.ourdebtfreelives.com

One more good GPT program is GangsterGreed.

You can check out the details on both these GPT programs on the blog. Just click on the link at the bottom of my signature and it will take to the blog where you can review both these GPT programs

Thanks,
